Connect your personal Telegram account
Open Settings in VIOTray and find Telegram. With an active subscription, choose Connect Telegram, open the personal link and start the bot. The link is single use and expires, so keep it private.
Return to settings to refresh the connection status. Links sent directly to the bot create wishes in your personal space without a folder. Review the card and share it with your people when you want.
Connect a group chat to a shared space
Add the bot as a chat administrator
Open the bot from VIOTray settings and add it as an administrator of your Telegram group. Automatic import requires the bot to receive ordinary group messages.
Get the chat ID
Send /id in the group. Copy the full numeric ID, including the minus sign.
Link the space
As a space administrator, enter the ID in the space Telegram settings. Link your personal Telegram account first. VIOTray checks that you also administer the Telegram chat.
Send links
New links from messages the bot receives are queued and become wishes in the connected space. Messages without links do not become wishes.
A chat can connect to one space. Tell the chat members that their links will be saved there. The bot does not download old chat history. Direct messages to the bot continue to go to your personal space.
Check imported details
A source may provide a title, image, description, price or address. Login requirements, CAPTCHA, removed pages and access restrictions can prevent extraction. When details are unavailable, the link is kept so you can complete the wish in the app.
Processing uses a queue, so cards may take a moment to appear. Repeated delivery of the same message should not create duplicate wishes. Check current prices, the exact branch and availability at the source before buying or booking.
Subscription and disconnecting
Telegram is a paid VIOTray feature. Participant is RUB 129 per month; review the final price and available terms in the app. Group imports depend on the owner’s suitable subscription.
The personal free plan includes places, shopping, wishlists and two owned folders. A subscription unlocks the remaining wish types, additional folders and Telegram. Existing wishes remain after access expires.
Disconnect your account or the group chat in settings to stop new imports. Wishes already created remain in the app.
Turn the wish into a plan
Open the imported café in VIOTray, check the address, collect reactions and choose a date. Import saves the idea; choosing a time and collecting invitation replies makes it a shared plan.
