Name the exact version
Include the model, size, colour, edition or format. Link to a specific public product page rather than a search result or a shop’s homepage. Add an alternative if the exact item is hard to find.
Write a wish someone can act on
| Detail | Example |
|---|---|
| Wish | Comfortable wireless headphones |
| Version | The specific model and preferred colour |
| Budget | About $250; check the seller’s current price |
| Why this version | Comfort for long listening sessions |
| Alternative | Another colour is fine; include a gift receipt |
Review imported details before saving. A price or image found on a website may describe a different variant.
Offer different budgets
Add several wishes at different prices, including small useful things. Approximate budgets help people choose without having to ask. Review the currency and availability before the occasion.
Include experiences
A museum visit, a class, a meal or a shared walk may be a better gift than another object. Mention who would go, any timing constraints and what needs to be booked.
Refresh the list before the occasion
Remove uncertainty by updating sizes, links and preferences. Mark completed wishes through the product’s progress tools so your collection reflects what you still want.
Choose who can see the wishes
Share selected wishes with a group or create a public link deliberately. Anyone with the link can open it; review what it exposes and revoke it when you no longer need it.
Your private notes and personal progress stay private. A group wishlist does not automatically reveal your whole collection.
Use your list in Secret Santa
Share a few options within the agreed gift budget with the exchange group. The recipient view shows wishes shared with that group.
